US Coast Guard Warehouse Remediation

  • Description: A U.S. Coast Guard leased warehouse was infested by rats and required remediation to restore it to a safe condition. First Atlantic Restoration disposed of hazardous materials and chemically cleaned the entire facility interior. A U.S. Coast Guard owned Mardi Gras float was also removed, cleaned, and returned to the warehouse during the two-week work period. HEPA filtered airscrubbers and hydroxyl generators were used to restore the indoor air quality. U.S. Coast Guard personnel monitored the project and provided final clearance.
VA Dept of Consercation Asbestos Abatement

  • Description: Complete demolition and disposal of an asbestos containing collapsed barn. Asbestos, hazardous waste, and agricultural waste products were disposed of according to all state and federal regulations.
National Park Service Mold Remediation

  • Description: A burst water pipe in a National Park Service owned duplex released approximately 6000 gallons of water into the structure. First Atlantic Restoration was responsible for mold remediation, disinfection, and waste disposal. All work was done in compliance with New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene November 2008. A third-party monitor provided an inspection, monitoring, and final clearance.

  • Description: Routine disinfecting of seven healthcare facilities for over the span of two years. Six facilities are located in Virginia and one in Richmond. Twice a month, First Atlantic Restoration disinfected each facility with Tomi Steramist products, which utilize ionized hydrogen peroxide.
